Finding the balance between shameless self promotion, education and impulse requires vision, tact and facilitation of reward based incentives. The action / reward modality such as “fill out this form and receive a free 1 month subscription” is just another layer of marketing in disguise.

The need to observe causes and not effects is apparent to those looking beyond their own motives, however, to those of us who don’t mind, looking into the psychology of impulse, randomness and reward is the dangling carrot that piques our curiousity.
